Sneak Peek at Harley Quinn’s New Look In ‘Birds of Prey’!

The highly anticipated DC Birds of Prey (And the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn) has leaked some concept art which shows Harley’s ‘fantabulous’ new look. Margot Robbie will be reprising the role that was praised during her first appearance in Suicide Squad – in fact, with the lack of praise that the film in general receieved, Warner Bros knew that Harley was the shining star from it and they needed to keep her on side.

Similarly to Suicide Squad, Birds of Prey will be an ensemble movie which centers around three Gothan City heroes – Huntress (Mary Elizabeth Winstead), Black Canary (Jurnee Smollett-Bell) and Renee Montoya (Rosie Perez). They will collaborate with the infamous Harley Quinn who (following the events of Suicide Squad) will have been freed from both the Joker (Jared Leto) and Belle Reve prison in order to save Cassandra Cain (Ella Jay Brasco), a young girl in trouble.

In line with her new way of life, Harley has also been given a brand new look which the concept art showcases – she has shorter hair, a brighter colour palette and of course, her trusty yet terrifying mallet. This is a new costume from the one that audiences were given a glimpse into when the teaser ‘See You Soon’ was released for Birds of Prey. However, Harley’s final costume is some black and blue striped shorts and a fringed jacket in glorious technicolour – as she loves.

Despite the fact that Harley didn’t have many costume changes in Suicide Squad, this won’t be the case as the set photos have hinted that she will have a much bigger wardrobe than the previous film.
