Where have you gone to, Spider-Man? Sony have expressed their disappointment after Disney announced they will no longer be working on any future Spider-Man films. What does this mean? It could mean that Spider-Man and Tom Holland will no longer be part of the MCU, much to fans (and Holland’s) disappointment. There are now petitions running for the decision to be reconsidered, including a plea from Hawkeye’s actor Jeremy Renner who took to Instagram requesting Spider-Man be returned to the MCU. The decision has come for funding reasons as an agreement couldn’t be met on future films. Sony has stated that they hope things ‘might change in the future’. We will keep you updated as the story progresses.
