Dr Dolittle has been a reoccuring doctor on our screens with a few remakes created from the original novel with Rex Harrison playing the role in the musical created in 1967 and then Eddie Murphy in the comedy films in the late 90s. Now, Robert Downey Jr. is trying his hand at the doctor who talks to animals in Dolittle. https://twitter.com/DolittleMovie/status/1183141685192097793/photo/1 The glimpse of the poster looks utterly adorable and RDJ looks settled in the role of Dolittle. It also solidifies the fact that the release date will definitely be at the beginning of next year on January 17th, 2020. It was originally supposed to be released in April of this year but was sent back for ‘reshoots’ which is incredibly rare in modern films. However, this is very similar to the original 1967 production which had many problems during production. It was worth it in the end as the film won many awards. Whether Robert Downey Jr. will reach the same success is yet to be shown but we can’t wait to see what they do with the iconic character.
