Akshay Kumar on FORBES INDIA 100 Celebs 2019 List

Megastar Akshay Kumar, who has had a phenomenal 2019, has grabbed the second position on the 2019 Forbes India Celebrity 100 List. The superstar has had three releases this year in the form of Kesari, Mission Mangal and Housefull 4, all of which became blockbuster hits at the box office. Akshay Kumar’s total earnings of this year stand at Rs 293.25 crore, which is a jump of 58.51 percent from the last year.

Akshay Kumar’s recent release, Housefull 4, became the sixth-highest grossing Bollywood movie of 2019 with a worldwide gross collection of Rs 278.78 crore. His previous releases this year, Kesari and Mission Mangal, collected Rs 151.87 crore and Rs 192.67 crore respectively. Kumar’s dominance at the box office this year is said to be his career-best. A significant chunk of his earnings also comes from brand endorsements. Currently, he endorses more than 20 top brands across categories.

The actor beat global A-listers like Rihanna and Bradley Cooper in this year’s Forbes US list of World’s Highest-Paid Celebrities and became the only Indian actor to feature on the list. He was declared the 4^th highest-paid actor in the world.

Akshay Kumar is gearing up for his next release Good Newwz which releases on 27^th of December worldwide.

In the new year, Akshay Kumar will be seen in Sooryavanshi, followed by comedy-horror Laxxmi Bomb and a fearless leader in Prithviraj.
