Chhalaang is streaming on Amazon Prime Video now Rajkummar Rao must be on cloud nine right now. With his film Chhalaang out on Amazon Prime Video and getting rave reviews, Rajkummar won’t stop celebrating his success. The idea of a ‘small-town guy’ can be understandably boring, but Rajkummar knows how to turn this sort of character interesting and relatable so the whole family loves him – which he does amazingly in Chhalaang. Speaking about playing Montu, he says: “Yes, a physical education teacher plays an important part in our lives and for me this film was very close as it is based in my home state, Haryana. I have seen the life there and come across teachers like Montu and Neelema on a daily basis. We all have had that one PT teacher in our lives who has had an impact in more ways than one. But nobody knows what happens in the lives of those teachers. The film has comedy, sports and love. It is a complete entertainer!” Directed by Hansal Mehta, the film is a Luv Films production, presented by Gulshan Kumar and Bhushan Kumar, produced by Ajay Devgn, Luv Ranjan and Ankur Garg. Prime members in over 200 countries and territories can stream Chhalaang released on Amazon Prime Video’s as a part of the festive line up for The Great Indian Festival.
