In support of Medical Aid For Palestinians and following two sellout performances earlierthis month, globally acclaimed poet and Sunday Times Best Selling Author, HussainManawer, will be taking center stage alongside special guests at Theatre Royal StratfordEast on Thursday 14th December. Embark on an evening where the eloquence of wordswill unite hearts and minds as Hussain’s 90-minute poetry set will explore themes such asgrief, loss, social justice, humanity, hope and healing. Accompanied by captivating special guest performances, the evening will present acuration of humanitarian poetry, prose and recital. Joining Hussain onstage will be actors,Saida Ahmed and Mascuud Dahir; and music artists, Joseph Marlow and GurbakshMatharu alongside other special guests. Every ticket purchased will be a direct contributionto Medical Aid for Palestinians, with proceeds from sales of Hussain’s best-selling book,Life Is Sad And Beautiful, furthering the cause. Each ticket and book purchase will play avital role in fostering positive impact that extends well beyond the stage. East London born and raised artist, Hussain Manawer, is a globally-acclaimed poet whobecame the first British Pakistani to have a Sunday Times Best Selling Book with his debutpoetry collection, Life Is Sad And Beautiful, in 2022, which has now been adapted andtaught in the UK National Schools Curriculum. Hussain’s work highlights issues such as grief, loss, human rights, mental health and socialjustice with a focus on building a life after loss.
