Indian actress Ananya Panday became the youngest Indian actress to represent an Indian designer Rahul Mishra at the Paris Haute Couture Week 2024.
Panday walked the runway for the first time wearing a mini black shimmery dress and carrying a giant circle prop that had hand-embroidered butterfly themes.
Rahul Mishra presented the new couture collection titled “Superheroes”, inspired by insects, reptiles, and dragonflies, as described by Vogue which marked Mishra as a top-tier couture entomologist, delighting in intricate and lavish creations.
Talking about the collection, Rahul Mishra said, “Beyond my own comfort zone, I look back once more at those who’ve been here before me. I seek to not just just appreciate the beauty or the vividness of the insect kingdom but also challenge our whole conditioning/education towards how we treat insects and feel the emotions otherwise coming from a primal notion of fear.”
The 25-year-old shared her Instagram stories to post the video from the fashion show and wrote, “Walking for @rahulmishra_7 at Paris Couture week.”
Panday’s recent film “Kho Gye Hum Kaha’ on Netflix was a digital success and got a lot of appreciation for her acting. The actress will next be seen in Vikramaditya Motwane’s ‘Control’ and Prime Video’s ‘Call Me Bae’.
