Offspinner Shoaib Bashir will be making his Test debut for England against India at Visakhapatnam on Friday. England lead the five-match Test series 1-0. The 20-year-old had reached India later than the rest of the squad due to a visa glitch. Bashir, who plays for Somerset, will be replacing Jack Leach (out due to a knee injury) in England’s XI. Apart from Bashir, veteran pacer James Anderson found a place in the playing XI, replacing Mark Wood. As for India, they are yet to announce their playing XI for the second Test.
