Berlin and this gang will return for a second season, confirmed Netflix on Monday. Alongside the iconic character played by Pedro Alonso, his entire gang will be back: Michelle Jenner (Isabel), who plays Keila, an expert in electronic engineering; Tristán Ulloa (Fariña) is Damián, a philanthropic professor and Berlin’s confidant; Begoña Vargas (Welcome to Eden) is Cameron, a kamikaze who always lives on the edge; Julio Peña Fernández (Through My Window) plays Roi, Berlin’s faithful squire; and Joel Sánchez brings Bruce to life, the relentless man of action in the gang.
Money Heist spinoff Berlin, during its premiere week, became the most-watched series globally. It also reached the Top 10 in 91 countries. Since then, it has remained in the Top 10 for 7 consecutive weeks in non-English TV, raking in 348 million hours viewed and 53 million total views.
In the history of Netflix, the series is now ranked at number 9 among the most-watched non-English language series.
The filming of the second season of BERLIN, created by Álex Pina (La casa de papel, Sky Rojo) and Esther Martínez Lobato (La casa de papel, Sky Rojo), will begin in 2025.
