The Pro Wrestling League has unveiled its official teaser for PWL 2026, offering a raw and emotionally charged preview of the league’s return to the national sporting calendar. Rooted in a powerful Hindi narrative, the teaser foregrounds the discipline, sacrifice and inner battles that shape elite wrestlers long before they step onto the mat.

Featuring leading Indian wrestlers such as Aman Sehrawat, Sujeet Kalkal, Kalva Gujjar, Mukul Dahiya, Priya Malik and Antim Panghal, the film blends familiar faces with a broader story of preparation and resolve. Its visual language draws from everyday India, from rooftops, village earth, narrow lanes to imposing walls, underscoring the idea that champions are shaped far beyond professional arenas.

The narration speaks of preparation measured in silence, pain absorbed without complaint, and mental battles fought well before the whistle sounds. Wrestling is framed not just as a sport, but as an assertion of dominance and resilience. As the voiceover builds, it declares that the bell has rung, the fire is lit, and Indian wrestling’s biggest contest is ready to unfold again.

PWL 2026 will begin on 15 January, with live coverage from 8:00 PM onwards on Sony LIV and the Sony Sports Network. Six franchises, along with top Indian and international wrestlers, will compete across the season, promising weeks of high-intensity, prime-time action.

As the teaser makes clear, the preparation is done, the challenge is set, and Indian wrestling is once again ready to take centre stage.
