India’s biggest playback singer and music composer to perform additional UK dates: 11th August, Co-op Live, Manchester 16th August, Utilita Arena, Birmingham Arijit Singh, the undisputed number one Bollywood playback singer and music composer in India, has added further dates in the UK in 2024, following an immediate sell-out of tickets at London’s The O2 Arena. Marking a first time ever, the music maestro’s Rotterdam date at the Ahoy Arena has also sold out. Singh will kickstart the UK tour on 11th August at Co-op Live Arena, Manchester, the UK’s newest and biggest live entertainment venue, which opens this spring. He will be the first South Asian artist to grace the venue’s stage. Following Co-op Live, he will perform on 16th August at Utilita Arena, Birmingham; and on 17th August at The O2 Arena, London. The additional UK tour dates in Manchester and Birmingham will be brought to audiences by FH Group and Rock On Music; presenting sponsor, Burj Mayfair. Heralded by numerous accolades, including a prestigious National Film Award and an impressive tally of seven Filmfare Awards, Singh stands as a musical artist with a soulful and melodious voice. His prolific career spans multiple Indian languages, with a focus on Hindi and Bengali, and is adorned with countless blockbuster movie songs that have resonated globally. In 2023, Singh continued his musical dominance, contributing chart-topping tracks to some of the year’s biggest Bollywood hits at the Global Box Office. Notable releases include “Jhoome Jo Pathaan” (Pathaan); “Tere Pyaar Mein” (Tu Jhoothi Main Makkar); “Tum Kya Mile” (Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani); “Dil Jhoom” (Gadar 2); and “Chaleya” (Jawan).
