Bollywood director Aditya Dhar, recognised for his debut film “Uri: The Surgical Strike,” has assembled a star-cast including Ranveer Singh, Sanjay Dutt, R. Madhavan, and Arjun Rampal for his next action drama, according to the Peepingmoon.com. Despite facing cancellation of his ambitious project “The Immortal Ashwatthama” due to financing issues, Dhar has now geared up for this new venture, tentatively titled Dhurandhar. As per reports, actors signing contract for Dhar’s project is not clear yet but the actors are said to be creatively committed, and other formalities are being swiftly finalized. Ranveer Singh will lead the narrative as an intelligence officer, while Dutt, Madhavan, and Rampal will play equally pivotal roles in this fast-paced, mission-based thriller. The film is said to be in the vein of Nikkhil Advani’s highly regarded D-Day (2013). Produced under the B62 Studios banner, which Aditya co-owns with his brother Lokesh Dhar, the project is set to be a massive budget production. The film will be shot on an unprecedented scale both in India and overseas, in partnership with a major studio. Pre-production has already begun, with filming scheduled to start towards the end of the year, aligning with Ranveer Singh’s availability. However, there has been not confirmation from Aditya Dhar.
