Prime Video has released the official trailer for Season Two of its Argentine original series Barrabrava, confirming a global premiere on 22 May, 2026.

The drama, which explores themes beyond sport, centres on power, ambition, family and loyalty within the world of football fan groups. The story follows brothers El Polaco and César, played by Matías Mayer and Gastón Pauls, who are deeply embedded in the operations of a barra brava supporting Club Atlético Libertad del Puerto.

In the upcoming season, tensions escalate as El Polaco rises to become the head of the group, triggering a fierce power struggle with his brother. The narrative continues to examine the complex relationships within the organisation, blending personal conflicts with broader themes of control and survival.

The series features an ensemble cast including Gustavo Garzón, Liz Solari, Pablo Alarcón, Mónica Gonzaga, Cande Molfese, Miguel Ángel Rodríguez, Neo Pistea, Frijo, Ángelo Mutti Spinetta, Violeta Narvay, Mica Riera and Ciro Martinez.

Behind the camera, the project is led by Jesús Braceras, who serves as director, writer and executive producer, alongside co-director Gabriel Nicoli. The writing team includes Nicoli, Cecilia Guerty, Mariano Hueter and Julio Boccalatte, with executive producers Ariel Tobi, Hernán Musaluppi and Santiago López, and Lilia Scenna as producer.

Barrabrava continues to strengthen Prime Video’s growing catalogue of Argentine originals, joining titles such as Argentina, 1985, El Fin del Amor, Iosi, El Espía Arrepentido and Maradona: Sueño Bendito. The platform’s global slate also includes popular series like The Boys, Citadel and The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power.
