DocuBay is set to release “Bad Toys Inc.,” a 45-minute original film that explores India’s burgeoning sex toy industry. DocuBay is the Indian documentary streaming platform under IN10 Media Network. As per Variety report, the documentary is scheduled for its debut on 26th July, offering an insightful look into the country’s evolving attitudes towards pleasure products. The film explores regional preferences, consumer stories, and industry insights, through several interviews with sexologist Dr. Prakash Kothari and founders of emerging sex toy startups. It also covers the legal aspects and historical context of pleasure accessories in India. Girish Dwibhashyam, COO of DocuBay, described the film as a “novel viewing experience” that reveals surprising facts about the Indian market. Producer Richa Sahai of Black Iris highlighted the challenges and excitement of creating content on this taboo topic. With India’s sex toy market projected to reach $200 million in five years, “Bad Toys Inc.” aims to illuminate a rapidly growing industry that is rarely discussed in mainstream media.
