The 37-year-old actor is known for her versatile roles across Hindi, Telugu, and Tamil cinema, joins the list of other actors like Farhan Akhtar, Sayani Gupta, and Rajshri Deshpande, who have also signed with Crimson in recent months.

Pannu’s career continues to soar following her recent success in “Dunki” (2023), where she starred alongside Shah Rukh Khan. Directed by Rajkumar Hirani, the film delves into the controversial illegal immigration method known as ‘donkey flight.’

In the Tamil film industry, Pannu has delivered memorable performances in films such as “Aadukalam” (2011), the horror-comedy Kanchana 2, the action-packed thriller “Arrambam,” and the psychological thriller “Game Over”. Her breakthrough in Telugu cinema came with her role in K Raghavendra Rao’s “Jhummandi Naadam” (2010) and the romantic drama “Mr. Perfect,” where she starred opposite Prabhas.

Pannu made her Bollywood debut in 2013 with David Dhawan’s “Chashme Baddoor,” sharing the screen with Siddharth, Rishi Kapoor, Divyendu Sharma, and Ali Zafar. Her career in Hindi cinema gained momentum in 2016 when she starred alongside Amitabh Bachchan in the critically acclaimed courtroom drama Pink. She further cemented her status in the industry with her role in Anurag Kashyap’s “Manmarziyaan” (2018), where she acted opposite Abhishek Bachchan and Vicky Kaushal. The film had its world premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival.

Pannu’s filmography boasts a string of successful films, including “Soorma,” “Badla,” and “Saand Ki Aankh”. Her recent works include the hard-hitting domestic abuse drama “Thappad,” Netflix’s “Haseen Dillruba,” the time-bending thriller “Loop Lapeta”—a remake of the German film “Run Lola Run”—and the sports drama “Rashmi Rocket”. She reunited with Anurag Kashyap for the sci-fi thriller “Dobaaraa,” an adaptation of the Spanish film “Mirage,” and starred in “Shabaash Mithu,” a biopic on Indian Women’s cricket captain Mithali Raj.

Her latest release, “Phir Aayi Haseen Dillruba,” the sequel to “Haseen Dillruba,” launched on Netflix on 9th August. Fans won’t have to wait long for more, as her next film “Khel Khel Mein,” co-starring Akshay Kumar, is set to hit theaters tomorrow.
