Prime Video has announced its first Thai Amazon Original film, “Love Stuck,” which will premiere exclusively on the streaming platform by the end of 2024. The film stars Thai actors Teeradon Supapunpinyo, known for his roles in “Bad Genius” and “Thirteen Lives,” and Plearnpichaya Komalarajun, recognized for her performances in “OMG! Oh My Girl” and “Bad Genius: The Series.” The cast also includes Thitiya Jirapornsilp, Sanya Kunakorn, Grace Mahadumrongkul and Monthapoom Sumonvarangkul.

“Love Stuck” is a remake of the critically acclaimed Amazon Original “The Map of Tiny Perfect Things,” which earned a Critics’ Choice Award nomination for Best Movie Made for Television. Directed by Chongdol Sukulworaphat, the film follows the story of Toy (played by Teeradon) and Vee (played by Plearnpichaya), two young people caught in a time loop. As they relive the same day, they begin to appreciate the significance of small moments and the importance of cherishing each one.

James Farrell, VP of International Originals at Amazon MGM Studios, expressed his excitement for the film’s release, said, “We are thrilled to announce that our first Thai Amazon Original film, Love Stuck, will soon be available for Prime Video customers in Thailand as well as in over 240 countries and territories. Featuring a funny, heartwarming, and meaningful story that transcends time, along with a brilliant cast, we can’t wait for audiences to experience the story of Toy and Vee. We hope this film will entertain Prime Video audiences not only in Thailand but also around the world.”

Director Chongdol Sukulworaphat added, “Love Stuck is a delightful time-loop film that seamlessly blends romance, comedy, fantasy, and drama—a unique flavor of Thai cinema we’re excited for everyone to savor. Collaborating with Prime Video has been an absolute honor. Our team poured their hearts into this project, and our talented cast brought each character to life with charm and dedication. This film will not only bring smiles and laughter to audiences but also warm their hearts, reminding them of the importance of relationships in life.”

“Love Stuck” is produced by Amazon MGM Studios in collaboration with Benetone Films, with Rachvin Narula and Kulthep Narula serving as producers. The original film, “The Map of Tiny Perfect Things,” was produced by Weed Road, FilmNation Entertainment, and Wishmore Entertainment, with Akiva Goldsman, Gregory Lessans, Aaron Ryder, and Ashley Fox as producers.

The film will join Prime Video’s extensive catalog, which includes popular shows and films like “LOL: Last One Laughing Thailand,” “Congrats My Ex!,” “Comedy Island,” and international hits such as “Marry My Husband” and “Rurouni Kenshin.” Prime Video offers its subscribers the convenience of watching on multiple devices and the option to download content for offline viewing. The service is available in Thailand for 149 THB per month.
