Telugu blockbuster Kalki 2989 AD to stream globally on Prime Video from August

Prime Video has announced the global streaming premiere of the Telugu action-adventure blockbuster Kalki 2989 AD on August 22, 2024. Directed by Nag Ashwin and produced by Priyanka Dutt, C. Aswani Dutt, and Swapna Dutt under Vyjayanthi Movies, the film features a star-studded cast, including Prabhas, Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan, Deepika Padukone, and Disha Patani.

After a successful theatrical release, Kalki 2989 AD will be available for streaming in India and over 240 countries and territories. The film will be offered in its original Telugu language, with dubs in Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam, and English subtitles.

Set in a dystopian world in 2898 AD, Kalki 2989 AD is the first installment in the Kalki Cinematic Universe. The film has been praised for its immersive storytelling, powerful performances, and innovative portrayal of a post-apocalyptic future.
