India’s Film Bazaar has announced the selection of 21 feature projects for its prestigious Co-Production Market, set to take place from 20-24 November at the Marriott Resort in Goa. The projects, representing seven countries including India, the UK, Australia, and Germany, will be pitched to an array of industry professionals such as producers, distributors, festival programmers, and financiers. Notable selections include The Song Of Flowers, a UK project produced by Neeraj Churi, whose recent work includes A Place Of Our Own, the SXSW 2024 audience award winner. The film is co-directed by Shubham Negi and Sourav Yadav. Another standout is The Disappearing Flower, an India-Germany co-production directed by Payal Sethi and produced by Thanikachalam SA, known for In Retreat, which premiered at Cannes Acid. For the first time, the Co-Production Market will also feature a web series strand, with eight projects selected to present their concepts to industry professionals and content commissioners. The event, organized by the NFDC, coincides with the International Film Festival of India (IFFI), which runs from 20-28 November in Goa, marking the 18th edition of Film Bazaar.
