Prime Video has released a new trailer for Citadel: Honey Bunny, the latest addition to the Citadel universe, featuring Varun Dhawan and Samantha as a formidable spy duo. The highly anticipated series is set to premiere on 7th November. Following the success of the original series starring Richard Madden, Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Stanley Tucci, and Lesley Manville, Citadel: Honey Bunny delves deeper into the gripping tale of Bunny (played by Dhawan), a skilled stuntman who enlists the help of Honey (played by Samantha), a struggling actress, for a risky mission. The trailer teases explosive action and intense drama as Bunny and Honey, now estranged elite spies, reunite to protect their young daughter, Nadia, when ghosts from their past resurface. This Indian adaptation is directed by acclaimed filmmakers Raj & DK (Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK) and penned by Sita R. Menon along with Raj & DK. The series is a joint production between D2R Films, Amazon MGM Studios, and AGBO, the production company of Anthony and Joe Russo. The Russo Brothers, alongside Angela Russo-Otstot and Scott Nemes from AGBO, and Hunters creator David Weil, serve as executive producers. Midnight Radio also contributes to the series’ executive production. The show’s other cast includes Kay Kay Menon, Saqib Saleem, Simran, Sikandar Kher, Soham Majumdar, Shivankit Parihar, and Kashvi Majmundar.
