Netflix has officially announced the much-anticipated return of Bloodhounds for its second season, bringing back the beloved boxing duo Gun-woo and Woo-jin, portrayed by Woo Do-hwan and Lee Sang-yi, with a thrilling new storyline that promises to captivate fans once again.
After dismantling a ruthless loan shark ring in the first season, Gun-woo and Woo-jin are set to face a fresh challenge—taking down a global underground boxing league led by a formidable new villain, Baek-jeong, played by Jung Ji-hoon. Known for his roles in Take 1 and Red Swan, Jung Ji-hoon steps into his first villainous role, adding a new layer of tension and excitement to the series.
Season 1 of Bloodhounds, based on the popular Naver webtoon by Jeong Chan, quickly rose to prominence, ranking in the Top 10 across 83 countries after its June 2023 release.
