Netflix India is doubling down on its hit heist thriller, Chor Nikal Ke Bhaga, giving fans more to look forward to with a sequel now officially in the works. PeepingMoon.com has exclusively revealed that Yami Gautam and Sunny Kaushal will reprise their roles, promising another gripping chapter in this high-stakes saga.

Yami will step back into the shoes of Neha Grover, the flight attendant ensnared in a dangerous web of deception. Sunny returns as Ankit Sethi, the vengeful diamond insurance mogul, with the sequel picking up directly where the first film left off—Ankit’s ominous threat hanging over Neha.

The directorial reins remain with Ajay Singh, who helmed the original 2023 film, while Dinesh Vijan and Amar Kaushik are set to produce. Fans can also expect familiar faces, as Sharad Kelkar and Indraneil Sengupta are likely to return as RAW officer Parvez Shaikh and Sudhanshu Roy, respectively. Promising to build on the intensity of the first installment, the sequel aims to keep audiences on edge with a tightly woven narrative.

Production details are still under wraps, but filming is anticipated to begin in the first half of 2025. Yami Gautam, who recently welcomed her first child in May 2024, will dive into this project after wrapping up a film with Junglee Pictures, centered on the historic Shah Bano case. She was last seen in Article 370, produced by her husband, Aditya Dhar, and has a romantic comedy with Pratik Gandhi lined up next.

Meanwhile, Sunny Kaushal is set to appear in Shiddat 2 alongside Wamiqa Gabbi, under Maddock Films. He also stars in the coming-of-age drama Letters to Mr. Khanna, sharing the screen with Neetu Singh and Shraddha Srinath.
