Kevin Costner returns to Fox Nation with “Yellowstone to Yosemite” series

Kevin Costner is set to return to Fox Nation as the host of the upcoming three-part limited series, Yellowstone to Yosemite with Kevin Costner, with the premiere episode slated for February 8. The docuseries will also serve as the launchpad for Fox Nation’s “America 250” campaign, celebrating the United States’ 250th anniversary in 2026.

In the series, Costner will retrace the iconic 1903 Yosemite expedition undertaken by President Teddy Roosevelt and conservationist John Muir. Through this journey, the Oscar-winning actor delves into the region’s Indigenous American heritage, the historical significance of Yosemite, and how the Roosevelt-Muir collaboration shaped the U.S. National Park system, leading to the preservation of 230 million acres of land and the establishment of national forests.

Costner, who also serves as the series’ executive producer, described the project as a compelling mix of extraordinary elements. “Once in a while, you come across a story that has that truly special mix of elements — it’s stranger than fiction and happens against all odds,” Costner said in a statement. “It results in something that legitimately changes the world for the good and, most importantly, it all really happened.”

The series was developed by Costner’s Territory Films in collaboration with Warm Springs Productions. Rod Lake joins Costner as an executive producer, alongside Marc Pierce of Warm Springs Productions. New episodes will debut weekly on Fox Nation.

Costner previously collaborated with Fox Nation on the 2022 docuseries Yellowstone: One-Fifty, where he explored the storied history of Yellowstone National Park.
