The much-anticipated trailer for Kesari Chapter 2 has been released, offering a powerful glimpse into an untold chapter of Indian history. Starring Akshay Kumar, Ananya Panday, and R. Madhavan, the historical drama brings to life the intense legal battle that followed the Jallianwala Bagh massacre of 1919.

Directed by Karan Singh Tyagi, Kesari Chapter 2 chronicles the courageous fight led by C. Sankaran Nair, a determined lawyer who dared to take on the British Empire in the courtroom. Based on the book The Case that Shook the Empire: One Man’s Fight for the Truth about the Jallianwala Bagh Massacre by Raghu and Pushpa Palat, the film explores Nair’s legal battle against Sir Michael O’Dwyer, the former lieutenant governor of Punjab and one of the key figures behind the massacre. Akshay Kumar steps into the role of Nair, while R. Madhavan plays his formidable opponent in court. Ananya Panday also stars as a fellow lawyer, adding further depth to the riveting narrative.
