Soho Theatre is thrilled to announce a November 2025 UK tour for comedian from India Urooj Ashfaq with her brand-new stand-up show, How to Be a Baddie. The tour follows her acclaimed sell-out return to the Edinburgh Festival Fringe this August, where she debuted the show at Monkey Barrel 4 as part of Soho Theatre’s 2025 Fringe programme. This marked her first full Fringe run since winning Best Newcomer at the 2023 Edinburgh Comedy Awards. After her debut UK tour in 2024 and with a growing international profile, Urooj returns with a bold, rebellious hour about shaking off good-girl expectations. How to Be a Baddie explores erotica, bad behaviour, haemorrhoids, and the freedom of finally saying whatever she wants, all delivered with Urooj’s trademark charm and Gen Z irreverence. Performing first in London at Soho Theatre Downstairs (Mon 3 – Sat 15 November, 7.15pm), the show then tours to Leeds, Manchester, Luton, Leicester, Edinburgh, Bristol, Birmingham, Bradford, and Glasgow across November. Urooj began performing stand-up in Mumbai’s underground comedy scene before rising to national attention in India as a finalist on TLC’s Queens of Comedy and host of Comicstaan. Her UK debut in 2023 earned her popular recognition, and she quickly became a key figure in the rise of Indian comedy on the international stage. In the years since, she’s performed sell-out runs at Soho Theatre, toured Australia with fellow Mumbai-based rising star Anirban Dasgupta, featured on comedy podcast Sloss and Humphries On The Road, and even became a pop culture trivia question on Kaun Banega Crorepati (India’s Who Wants To Be A Millionaire). Now, with How to Be a Baddie, Urooj is done playing nice. ‘Back-to-back laughs… Urooj Ashfaq is a must-see’ The Wee Review ★★★★★ ‘Every joke is a hit’ Entertainment Now ★★★★★ ‘An hour of gloriously chaotic, unfiltered stand-up’ The Skinny ★★★★ ‘An electrifying comic talent from Mumbai’ The Times ★★★★ ‘An utterly endearing comic’ Fest ★★★★ ‘Undeniably one of the brightest gems in the contemporary Indian comedy scene’ New Indian Express 20 Golden Comedy Shows to see at Edinburgh Fringe 2025 The Guardian The Best Shows to See at Edinburgh Fringe2025 Time OutTop Comedy Picks at Edinburgh Fringe 2025 The TimesThe Best Shows to See at Edinburgh Fringe 2025 The Week MagazineThe 32 Best Shows to See at Edinburgh Fringe2025 i Paper LISTINGS: Soho Theatre, Downstairs19:15, Mon 3 – Sat 15 NovFrom £18 The Wardrobe, Leeds19:30, Tue 18 NovFrom £18 Frog and Bucket Comedy Club, Manchester20:00, Wed 19 NovFrom £18 Hat Factory Arts Centre, Luton20:00, Thu 20 NovFrom £18 The Big Difference, Leicester20:30, Fri 21 NovFrom £18 Monkey Barrel Comedy, Edinburgh20:00, Sun 23 NovFrom £17 Hen & Chicken, Bristol20:00, Wed 26 NovFrom £18 The Glee Club, Birmingham19:45, Thu 27 NovFrom £18 Loading Bay, Bradford19:30, Fri 28 NovFrom £14 The Stand, Glasgow16:00, Sat 29 NovFrom £18 Get your tickets here: https://sohotheatre.com/events/urooj-ashfaq-how-to-be-a-baddie-2/ WRITTEN BY: Nura Arooj About Author SSZee Media Provider of Quality Entertainment News and Information See author's posts Share this: Share on Facebook (Opens in new window) Facebook Share on X (Opens in new window) X Share on Tumblr (Opens in new window) Tumblr Share on LinkedIn (Opens in new window) LinkedIn Share on WhatsApp (Opens in new window) WhatsApp Share on Pinterest (Opens in new window) Pinterest Email a link to a friend (Opens in new window) Email Share on Telegram (Opens in new window) Telegram Share on Reddit (Opens in new window) Reddit Print (Opens in new window) Print Like this:Like Loading… Related Post navigation Excel Entertainment & Trigger Happy Studios Reveal Jaw-Dropping Trailer of ‘120 Bahadur’—A Cinematic War Epic PRESENTING THE FIRST LOOK OF DHURANDHAR: ARJUN RAMPAL, SANJAY DUTT AND R.
