Sara Ali Khan reveals that she had been waiting for the right comedy project for a long time and says Pati Patni Aur Woh Do finally offered her a chance to explore a genre she deeply enjoys. Calling comedy “the need of the hour”, Khan says she was drawn to the film’s ability to entertain audiences of all ages while still giving every character emotional stakes and purpose. Her character Chanchal, she explains, is driven by one clear objective throughout the story — but the lengths she goes to in order to achieve it create chaos for everyone around her. Ayushmann Khurrana similarly notes that the comedy emerges organically from situations spiralling out of control, with every attempted solution only making matters worse. Together, both actors highlight how the film balances high-energy humour with grounded emotional motivations. Pati Patni Aur Wo Do releases internationally on 15th May 2026.
