After a lot of rumours of the same, Paris Saint-Germain has finally announced the signing of Angel Di Maria on a four-year contract in a deal of 63 million euros with United. The amount of the deal makes Di Maria the second most expensive footballer in the history of French football after Edinson Cavani who came to PSG in 64 million euros. After helping Argentina reach the final of the Copa America, Di Maria is all set to begin his journey at PSG and he was quoted as saying, “I am very proud and can’t wait to wear the colours of Paris Sant-Germain. I want to win every competition we enter, both in France and Europe. I want to win the Champions League, which is a dream for all footballers, for a second time. We will do everything we can to bring Europe’s biggest trophy to France and the fans of Paris Saint-Germain.” Di Maria has already won the Champions League once with Real Madrid in 2004.
