With her right leg injured, Maria Sharapova has withdrawn her name from the Rogers Cup that’s starting next week. The Women’s Tennis Association announced the news of her withdrawal on Friday.

Sharapova hasn’t competed in any competition since losing to Serena Williams in the Wimbledon final last month.

The Rogers Cup will begin from Monday.
