Zendaya Sports ‘MJ-Red’ Hair at Tower of London!

Rising star Zendaya appeared at an event with red hair that matches her latest iconic character and role, Mary Jane. This was no accident, however, she did this to promote the soon-to-be-released sequel, Spider-Man: Far From Home. Starting her career on the Disney Channel, the star first appeared in the Marvel Cinematic Universe in Spider-Man: Homecoming in 2017.

Originally, the character was introduced as ‘Michelle’ but in a nod to fans at the end of Homecoming, she revealed that her name was Michelle Jones or as she prefers to be called ‘MJ’.

Kevin Feige, president of Marvel Studios later stated to fans that Michelle isn’t going to be Mary Jane Watson but that the character may follow a similar course to her predecesor. Teaser trailers have hinted that Peter Parker and Michelle may be each other’s love interest. But it has been officially confirmed – no matter their relationship – that Michelle will find out that Peter is Spider-Man by the end of the film.

Either way, the star looks amazing with her red hair and she is definitely channeling the red-haired comic beauty that fans know and love. The event was to promote Spider-Man Far From Home at the Tower of London (a set which will appear in the sequel among many European sights and locations).

It has also been rumoured that the star could be playing another red-haired beauty. The rumours began to circulate that Zendaya has been offered the role of Ariel in the live-action remake of The Little Mermaid by Disney. She has since denied the rumour, stating that she would be interested in the role if the opportuniy arose. She’s definitely got the hair for it now!
