Ray Winstone Due to Appear in Black Widow Movie!

The highly anticipated Black Widow from Marvel has been slowly introducing new additions to the cast and crew. The latest is Ray Winstone playing a yet undiscolsed character.

The actor has starred in productions such as The Departed and Hugo. Alongside him, the other cast include Florence Pugh (Fighting With My Family) and David Harbour (Stranger Things). Other actors who have reportedly joined onto the project are Academy Award winner Rachel Weisz and O-T Fagbenle (The Handmaid’s Tale). Fans still don’t know what roles they are due to play, either. As with everything Marvel, it is likely that they will keep most things secret until the premiere. There are few details regarding the plot and the limited photos from set aren’t giving anything away, either. But we do know that the film will be a prequel to the first Avengers. This came as a surprise to fans who believed that it would be a prequel to Captain America: Civil War.

The production for Black Widow’s solo movie is in the works now with filming having started in the picturesque Budapest. So far, the only person who has been photographed on set is star of the film, Scarlett Johansson. But we do know that Pugh is there as she has teased that she is in Budapest on social media – so it could be that we see her in character on set in the days to come. Even though we can’t say for certain, the rumours for the character that she is playing have all boiled down to the iconic Yelena Belova.

The film is rumoured to be released in May of next year (2020.)
