Jillian Bell (22 Jump Street) has been cast in ‘Bill & Ted 3’ (2020) to portray the familie’s therapist. Even though there is still a year between us and the release date, there have been changes in the past month that are progressing the production rapidly.
Many believed that the third film installment of ‘Bill & Ted Face the Music’ was cursed to ensure that it didn’t run as it has run into many problems that have held up release. The sequel was in 1991 (Bill & Ted’s Bogus Journey) and was released only two years after the original movie. Comedy lovers were shown the crazy world of stones Ted Theodore Logan (Keanu Reeves) and Bill S. Preston Esquire (Alex Winter). That marks 28 years since the sequel meaning that fans had given up hope of the third film ever coming to light.
It isn’t often spoken about, just in mention to how Keanu’s career was kick-started into success. But it has been confirmed that the third film is a definite go-ahead as casting decisions are now being announced. Jillian Bell is notorious for playing characters who you wouldn’t want to be responsible for – characters who are unpredictable but hilarious in their antics. She was also a writer on Saturday Night Live and is becoming one of those faces you see pop up in comedy constantly.
The film itself will focus on Bill and Ted consoling themselves over the fact that their dreams to be famous musicians never took up. Now after hitting middle age, they are seeing a therapist (enter Jillian Bell) who is going to help them pick themselves up after their slump.
