Asma Khan, the celebrity chef will be host “Tiffin Stories,” the six-part food documentary series by Raghav Khanna, revealed at Singapore’s Asia TV Forum & Market. Khan will be seen interacting with iconic Indians and people from Indian diaspora in the series, talking about their nostalgia associated with food at the same time bringing to fore their life journeys. Created by Khanna, “Tiffin Stories” will be filmed in India and the UK. Khan hails originally from India and runs a popular Darjeeling Express restaurant in London. One of the episodes of Netflix’s “Chef’s Table” was focused on her journey. Besides being the creator, Khanna is also the showrunner of “Tiffin Stories”. Khanna is widely known for directing and writing the popular food documentary series, “Raja, Rasoi, Aur Anya Kahaniyaan”. His recent work has been the leading documentary production for Netflix in APAC, where served as the studio executive on the Oscar-winning short documentary, “The Elephant Whisperers”. He has also directed the first episode of Applause Entertainment and Film Companion’s “Modern Masters,” revolving around “RRR” director S.S. Rajamouli.
