Netflix’s Bhakshak trailer unfolds a riveting tale of crime and pursuit

Netflix, on Wednesday, unveiled the trailer of its upcoming crime drama Bhakshak. Featuring Bhumi Pednekar, the drama gives a glimpse of her powerful performance as Vaishali Singh, a determined journalist on a mission to expose a heinous crime.

The drama has been inspired by real-life events and promises to captivate audiences with a tale of bravery and the quest for justice.

Directed by Pulkit and produced by Gauri Khan and Gaurav Verma, Bhakhsak’s ensemble includes Sanjay Mishra, Aditya Srivastava and Sai Tamhankar, along with Pednekar.

The film follows the life of a fearless investigative journalist who uncovers shocking secrets hidden within a girls’ shelter home.

Reflecting on his film, director Pulkit said: “This story is deeply personal to me, and shaping the journey of an investigative journalist in her pursuit of justice and truth has been an incredibly enriching experience as a director. My aspiration is for this film to reach audiences across the globe as it makes its mark on Netflix across 190 countries.”

‘Bhakshak’ will premiere on February 9 exclusively on Netflix.
