Kate Winslet is all set to portray a war correspondent and photographer Lee Miller in a Sky original film titled “LEE” that will premiere in the UK and Irish cinemas on 13th September, 2024.

“LEE” narrates the remarkable journey of Lee Miller, an American photographer determined to unveil the truth of the Nazi regime. Despite facing formidable obstacles as a female correspondent, Miller courageously captured some of the most pivotal moments of World War II, enduring significant personal sacrifices along the way.

Joining Winslet in the cast are Andy Samberg as Life Magazine photographer David E. Scherman, Alexander Skarsgård as English Surrealist painter and photographer Roland Penrose, Marion Cotillard as Solange D’Ayen, the fashion director of French Vogue and close friend of Miller’s, Josh O’Connor as Tony, a young journalist, and Andrea Riseborough as British Vogue Editor Audrey Withers.

Directed by Ellen Kuras and produced by Kate Solomon and Kate Winslet, “LEE” promises to offer a compelling portrayal of Miller’s extraordinary life and contributions. The film’s ensemble cast and talented crew, including executive producers Julia Stuart, Laura Grange, and a host of others, ensure a cinematic experience that captures both the historical significance and personal sacrifices of Lee Miller’s enduring legacy.
