Jonah Hauer-King is set to join the star-studded cast of Kathryn Bigelow’s next project for Netflix, according to Deadline exclusive report. The yet to be named thriller includes Idris Elba, Rebecca Ferguson, Jared Harris, Greta Lee, Tracy Letts, Moses Ingram, Anthony Ramos, and Gabriel Basso. Bigelow will direct the film. While Netflix has not commented on the casting, details about the film’s title and plot remain largely undisclosed. However, sources indicate that the story will unfold at the White House amidst a national crisis. This film will mark Bigelow’s return to feature filmmaking since her 2017 thriller Detroit, which was both a critical success and an awards contender produced by Annapurna Pictures. Hauer-King gained significant recognition for his portrayal of Prince Erik in Disney’s live-action The Little Mermaid. Recently, he appeared in the Peacock limited series The Tattooist of Auschwitz and is set to feature in the upcoming season of Doctor Who.
