Christopher Nolan is once again assembling an A-list ensemble for his latest project at Universal Pictures, adding Anne Hathaway and Zendaya to an already impressive lineup, according to Deadline exclusive. Hathaway and Zendaya will join Matt Damon and Tom Holland in the filmmaker’s upcoming feature, which is scheduled for an IMAX release on 17 July, 2026. This date aligns with Nolan’s history of mid-July premieres, marking it as a true summer blockbuster event. While details about the film remain closely guarded, sources caution that any plot descriptions circulating are inaccurate. This will be Zendaya’s first collaboration with Nolan, while Hathaway, a seasoned member of the director’s cast, returns for her third film with him following The Dark Knight Rises (2012) and Interstellar (2014). Hathaway has had an impressive 2024, with standout roles in the thriller Mother’s Instinct alongside Jessica Chastain and Amazon’s The Idea of You. Her next project, Flowervale Station, is already set to debut with Warner Bros. Zendaya also had a blockbuster year, starring in Dune: Part Two, which generated over $700 million globally, followed by her role in Amazon MGM’s Challengers. With shooting expected to begin in early 2025, excitement is already building for Nolan’s next cinematic masterpiece, which continues his tradition of pairing breathtaking visuals with star-studded casts.
