Directed by filmmaker Prasoon Pandey, the film is scheduled to begin shooting in February 2025. Prasoon Pandey is a celebrated name in the advertising world, and now all set to takes the directorial role for this venture. Renowned for crafting memorable ads for brands like Fevicol, Asian Paints, and Flipkart, Pandey brings a unique storytelling vision to the table. With a background in theatre and a degree from the National Institute of Design, he founded Corcoise Films, which has produced numerous award-winning campaigns. His creative expertise is expected to infuse LATOO with a distinctive visual and narrative style. Both the actors made their respective Bollywood debut in 2016 with Dangal, has since emerged as industry’s most versatile talents. Khurana impressed audiences has his comic timing in Stree and Stree 2 and have shown his dramatic depth in films like Luka Chuppi and Pati Patni Aur Who. Meanwhile, after the success of Dangal, Malhotra earned accolades for her nuanced performances in films like Badhaai Ho and Photograph. Her ability to bring authenticity to complex roles has made her a standout talent in Bollywood. Adding to the anticipation is the involvement of Shantanu Srivastava, the writer behind the critically acclaimed film Badhaai Ho. Known for his knack for crafting character-driven narratives, Srivastava has penned the script for LATOO.
