Netflix has released the trailer for Missing You, the latest thriller from bestselling author Harlan Coben. The five-part limited series, starring Rosalind Eleazar, is set to premiere globally on January 1, 2025, promising a gripping blend of mystery, drama, and buried secrets.

The story follows Eleazar’s character as she tries to rebuild her life after a devastating loss. Swiping through profiles on a dating app, she is shocked to see a familiar face—Josh, whose sudden reappearance forces her to confront the mystery surrounding her father’s murder and uncover long-hidden truths about her past.

Joining Eleazar in the star-studded cast are Ashley Walters, Richard Armitage, Sir Lenny Henry, Steve Pemberton, Jessica Plummer, Mary Malone, Lisa Faulkner, and James Nesbitt. The series builds on the massive success of Coben’s earlier Netflix adaptation, Fool Me Once, which became the platform’s most-viewed show in the first half of 2024, racking up over 108 million views.

Produced by Quay Street Productions, a part of ITV Studios, Missing You shifts the setting from the U.S. to the U.K., with filming taking place across Manchester and the North West of England. Harlan Coben serves as an executive producer through his company, Final Twist Productions, alongside Nicola Shindler, Richard Fee, Victoria Asare-Archer, and Danny Brocklehurst.

Coben, whose novels are published in 45 languages worldwide, has earned a reputation for crafting gripping narratives that translate seamlessly to the screen. His previous adaptations, including Stay Close, The Stranger, and Safe, have been global hits.
