Netflix has released the highly anticipated trailer for Nadaaniyan, offering a glimpse into a love story that begins as a simple arrangement but quickly turns into something neither of its protagonists saw coming. Starring Khushi Kapoor and Ibrahim Ali Khan in his much-awaited debut, the film promises a blend of romance, humor, and heartache, where the unpredictability of love takes center stage. At the heart of the story is Pia Jai Singh, a glamorous South Delhi socialite who believes she can script the perfect love story, and Arjun Mehta, an ambitious middle-class student determined to lead his school’s debate team. Their lives intertwine when Pia ropes Arjun into a deal—pretending to be her boyfriend to create the ideal romantic illusion. What starts as a harmless setup quickly spirals as real emotions surface, misunderstandings take hold, and they both realize love isn’t as easy to control as they thought. Watch the trailer here: Joining the lead pair are Mahima Chaudhary, Suniel Shetty, Dia Mirza, and Jugal Hansraj, adding depth to this youthful romance. Directed by Shauna Gautam and produced under Karan Johar’s Dharmatic Entertainment banner, Nadaaniyan captures the chaos and magic of first love, where choices are complicated and hearts rarely follow the rules. Reflecting on her journey directing her first feature film, Shauna Gautam shared, “Directing Nadaaniyan has been an incredibly special journey for me, especially as my first film. This story is close to my heart, capturing the innocence and often surprising nature of first love. Collaborating with Karan sir and Dharmatic Entertainment has been a dream, and their support has been invaluable in bringing this vision to life. Working with such an amazing cast, particularly Ibrahim in his debut role, has been an absolute joy. I can’t wait for audiences to witness this fun, heartfelt ride on Netflix.” As anticipation builds, Nadaaniyan is all set to bring its mix of charm, chaos, and romance to screens worldwide. The film premieres on March 7, exclusively on Netflix.
