Paramount+ has officially locked in the return of its gritty gangster drama Tulsa King. Season 3 of the Sylvester Stallone-led series will premiere on September 21, with new episodes dropping weekly, continuing the streamer’s episodic rollout strategy. The upcoming season promises bigger stakes and bloodier turf wars as Stallone’s Dwight “The General” Manfredi grows his criminal empire deeper into Tulsa’s underworld. But expansion comes with enemies. According to the official synopsis, “As Dwight’s (Sylvester Stallone) empire expands, so do his enemies – and the risks to his crew. Now, he faces his most dangerous adversaries in Tulsa yet: the Dunmires, a powerful old-money family that doesn’t play by old-world rules, forcing Dwight to fight for everything he’s built and protect his family.” Season 3 brings back familiar faces including Martin Starr, Jay Will, Annabella Sciorra, Neal McDonough, Robert Patrick, and Beau Knapp, alongside newcomers like Frank Grillo, Michael Beach, and Dana Delany. Also returning are Bella Heathcote, Chris Caldovino, McKenna Quigley Harrington, Kevin Pollak, and Garrett Hedlund. One of the most buzzed-about additions is Samuel L. Jackson, who will appear in multiple episodes this season before headlining a newly greenlit spinoff, NOLA King. Jackson plays a prison friend of Dwight’s who arrives in Tulsa on a mission to kill him—only to be drawn into Dwight’s syndicate and inspired to build his own criminal empire in New Orleans. Production on NOLA King is expected to begin in early 2026. The series continues under the creative helm of Taylor Sheridan, with executive producers including Stallone, Dave Erickson (also showrunner), David C. Glasser, Ron Burkle, David Hutkin, Bob Yari, Jim McKay, Sheri Elwood, Ildy Modrovich, and Keith Cox. Tulsa King is produced by MTV Entertainment Studios and 101 Studios, and distributed by Paramount Global Content Distribution. With a powerful cast, fresh enemy faces, and a universe that’s expanding to new cities, Tulsa King Season 3 promises to raise the stakes and deepen the drama when it returns this fall.
