‘Peace for Flora and Fauna’: Digital Art Exhibition Calls for Global Harmony

In response to growing global unrest and environmental challenges, a new digital exhibition titled “Peace for Flora and Fauna” is set to bring together artists and performers in a collective call for harmony and ecological awareness. Presented by Ehsaas, the multidisciplinary showcase will run online from 23 April to 23 May, 2026.

Curated by Manisha Gawade, the exhibition explores the fragile relationship between humanity and nature through a range of artistic expressions, including painting, sculpture, classical dance and music. The initiative aims to highlight the urgency of protecting biodiversity while encouraging reflection on humanity’s role in environmental degradation.

The exhibition features a diverse group of artists whose works engage with themes of coexistence, spirituality and ecological balance. Among them are Sarla Chandra, known for integrating nature, science and philosophy; Rajesh K. Baderia, whose abstract works draw on symbolic and spiritual elements; and Priyendra Shukla, who addresses human impact on the animal world.

Also part of the lineup are Aarti Uppal Singha, whose compositions reflect the rhythms of nature; Kunal Kapoor, exploring the evolving relationship between humans and animals; and Kapil Kapoor, whose works provoke dialogue around survival and environmental conflict.

The exhibition extends beyond visual art, incorporating performances by noted cultural figures. Shovana Narayan, a Padma Shri awardee, will bring classical dance into the conversation on peace and shared humanity, while Rahul Mishra will contribute through music rooted in India’s classical traditions.

Speaking about the initiative, Gawade said, “Artists of this era come together in a unified voice, advocating for peace in the face of global conflict. Through their collective expression, they call for the protection and preservation of flora and fauna, emphasizing the urgent need to safeguard our natural environment for present and future generations. Ehsaas has always stood for causes which are pressing and need our urgent attention and world peace and environmental conservation and prevent economic destruction which is the need in the middle of all the existing wars. We urge one and all to think calmly and protect the globe.”

Designed as a fully digital experience, the exhibition will be streamed live on Facebook and Instagram, making it accessible to audiences worldwide. Organisers describe the initiative not just as an exhibition, but as a broader movement aimed at encouraging dialogue, awareness and collective responsibility toward the environment.

With its blend of art, performance and advocacy, “Peace for Flora and Fauna” seeks to create a shared space for reflection—urging audiences to reconsider their relationship with the natural world at a time of mounting ecological and global challenges.
