Prime Video has unveiled the release date and first-look images for the second season of Batman: Caped Crusader, offering fans a fresh glimpse into the shadowy streets of Gotham City ahead of the show’s return this summer. The critically acclaimed animated noir series, produced by DC Studios, Warner Bros. Animation, Bad Robot Productions, and 6th & Idaho, will return with all ten episodes premiering on 31 July. Alongside the announcement, Prime Video released a series of new images teasing the next chapter in Batman’s crime-fighting journey and introducing several notable characters set to play key roles in the upcoming season. The newly released visuals provide a deeper look into Gotham’s criminal underworld while spotlighting familiar names from the Batman universe, including Edward Nygma, Carrie Kelly and Roxy Rocket. Their inclusion signals new challenges and alliances for the Dark Knight as the story continues to expand its reimagined take on the iconic mythology. The series will stream exclusively on Prime Video. Its debut season earned widespread praise from critics and currently holds a Certified Fresh rating on Rotten Tomatoes, helping establish the show as one of the standout animated interpretations of the legendary DC character in recent years. Set during Batman’s formative years as a vigilante, Batman: Caped Crusader follows billionaire Bruce Wayne as he transforms his personal tragedy into a relentless mission against crime.
