Oscar-winning actress Faye Dunaway has officially signed on for a key role in the supernatural coming-of-age thriller The Evilry. She joins a star-studded ensemble that includes Billy Zane, Brec Bassinger, Elena Kampouris, Dylan Walsh, Tony Pierce, Evan Ross, Marissa Reyes, and Teri Polo. Dunaway will portray Anastasia, a town spiritualist who becomes a source of enlightenment for Crystal, played by Bassinger. Anastasia helps Crystal uncover the chilling truth about her cousin and a mysterious dark secret. Written and directed by Alexander Garcia, The Evilry is produced under Garcia’s Multi-Valence Productions in collaboration with Allegheny Image Factory, Callosum Studios, AMAC Placement, and ZaZa Rev Motion Pictures. Filming is set to begin later this month in West Virginia. The film has already secured worldwide rights through The Coven, the same group behind the Terrifier franchise. Dunaway, known for her illustrious career, has an Academy Award for Best Actress and has been nominated twice more for her iconic roles in Bonnie and Clyde and Chinatown. Her accolades also include three Golden Globes, a Primetime Emmy, and a BAFTA Award. Most recently, she starred in the documentary Faye, directed by Laurent Bouzereau, which premiered at the Cannes Film Festival this May. The film offers a candid look at her career and life, reflecting on her many triumphs and challenges.
