Actor Mark Ruffalo will be honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on Thursday, February 8, 2024. He will be the 2,772nd star at 6777 Hollywood Boulevard. Ruffalo will receive his star in the category of Motion Pictures.

Ruffalo will be joined by emcee Steve Nissen, Walk of Famer Laura Dern, and actor Don Cheadle.

The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce administers the legendary Hollywood Walk of Fame for the City of Los Angeles.

“Mark Ruffalo is a remarkable talent with an unwavering dedication to his craft. He has captivated audiences worldwide through his performances,” Walk of Fame quoted Ana Martinez, producer of the Hollywood Walk of Fame, as saying.

“We are proud to honor him and place his star in front of the Stella Adler Acting Academy where he trained to become one of our finest actors!” added Martinez.

Ruffalo is an Emmy Award winner and a four-time Academy Award nominee. One of Hollywood’s most sought-after actors, he has worked with directors including Ang Lee, Martin Scorsese, Michael Mann, Spike Jonze, David Fincher, Fernando Meirelles, and Michel Gondry.

Currently, Ruffalo can be seen starring in Yorgos Lanthimos and Searchlight Pictures’ “Poor Things,” for which he just received an Oscar nomination, and in the Netflix limited-series “All the Light We Cannot See”, based on the Pulitzer Prize-winning bestseller.

His next project includes “Mickey 17” – a Warner Bros production and directed by Bong Joon Ho. He will star alongside Toni Collette and Robert Pattinson.

In 2019, he starred as Bruce Banner/The Hulk in “Avengers: Endgame.” Before that, he starred in “Avengers: Infinity War,” which grossed $1.6 Billion worldwide and was the biggest worldwide film opening since 2002. Since that, he’s been a part of “Thor: Ragnarok”, “Avengers: Age of Ultron,” the hit sequel to “Marvel’s The Avengers,” among other projects.
